This place has it all

When staying at Moulton View you will no doubt want to visit the many attractions that Yorkshire has to offer. Kiplin Hall and Gardens is just down the road from Moulton Village and situated between Ellerton-on-Swale and Northallerton.  With its award winning tearoom and 400 years worth of stories about the members of four families that owned Kiplin Hall over four centuries and the international adventures they had, it has to be one for your list.

Kiplin Hall

It caters for those who love historic buildings, history and those who like to get outdoors and enjoy nature and woodland. Dogs are also allowed to walk in the grounds, around the lake and woodlands but must be kept on a lead. They are not permitted to enter the buildings.

There are a number of picnic tables situated on the lawns meaning you can have tea and cakes alfresco with your four legged friend and why not with such spectacular views around you.

Kiplin Hall has events and exhibitions on throughout the year including a Vintage Vehicle and Machine Rally in April for historic motor enthusiasts.

Tickets are required to visit this interesting historic building and grounds and also for some of the events, so please check their website for further details.  It is open from 6 days a week (closed Thursdays) 10am - 5pm between February and November 2nd.
